Interactive GBMs & Socials

General body meetings make financial learning practical and interactive. Members explore budgeting, credit, investing, and taxes through workshops, guest speakers, and social events that connect students across majors and class years.

Community Teach-Ins & Partnerships

We partner with Pittsburgh-area schools and community organizations to deliver financial-literacy workshops. CMU mentors lead approachable sessions on budgeting, banking, credit, college costs, and long-term planning.

CMU StuCo Course

CMU StuCo Course

Our student-taught course gives undergraduates an accessible introduction to personal finance. Students learn to budget, use credit responsibly, understand taxes and investing, and build healthy long-term habits.

Finnovation

Finnovation

Moneythink CMU's premier annual hackathon-style case competition. Teams tackle a real-world financial literacy or fintech challenge and pitch their solutions to professionals from BCG and other leading firms.

PE/VC Learning Program

Moneythink CMU's emerging PE/VC Learning Program introduces members to how investors evaluate companies and opportunities. Introductory workshops and team exercises explore deal mechanics, valuation basics, market research, risk assessment, and investment decision-making.

Community Impact Consulting

Pro bono, semester-long projects help Pittsburgh nonprofits and local businesses address financial, data, and operational challenges. Students train with experienced leads, then deliver research, analysis, and actionable recommendations to clients.
